“I Think You Should” is the second single from, and opening track of the new album, Suthernahia, from Ben Davis, Jr and his fiery backing band, The Revelry.

The song paints an unforgettable portrait of lost souls on a slippery slope with only two choices left—righting their course (and getting right with themselves) or “going down in a suicide plane” never to be seen again.

With Davis, Jr’s powerful and emotional vocals leading the charge, the track is a surging flash flood of anthemic guitars, rock mandolin, and taut drum/bass interplay, morphing unexpectedly into swirling, psychedelic maelstroms of theremin, mellotron, guitars, and phase shifted vocals. Then, like an oxbow on the Ohio River that helped inspire many of his tunes, the track doubles back to a classic rock climax.
