Album Notes
As a trio, Bad Dream Good Breakfast, soon realized that they couldn't achieve the lush intricate sounds they desired with guitar loops and distortion alone. Using their musical education (The New England Conservatory of Music, Berklee School of Music, University of Washington, etc…), they set out to expand their songs by orchestrating richer compositions for strings, electronics and vocal harmonies for a sound that the Pacific Northwest will find unique to the music scene. Paired with Nick Jones storytelling lyrics, listeners will find themselves one minute in the midst of a film noir and the next floating across an uplifting landscape.

What a debut
This cd is one of the best I've heard in a long time. The songs all have such a strong individuality, are well composed and full of emotion. You can hear these people LOVE to make music; and of course they're very good at it.
Fans of e.g. Arcade Fire, Radiohead and atmospheric rock music in general need to buy this cd immediately, you won't regret it for a second.
Oh, I really hope they will be visiting Europe too soon ;)
