ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
New Jersey's downtempo duo, Aratone aka (J.Tornquist, Omne) release their long awaited full length album entitled Lemonade Electrica on Me&I Records. Their definitive sound has been globaly described as "supreme sonic reverberation unites with neo-urban dub rock." This essential chillout album is heavily bodied with deep dub influence, moody soundscapes, textured guitars, and layers of west indian vibe. Their uptempo single, "Polyvinyl" has been featured on numerous electronica playlists worldwide, and their electro-dub hit, "Residense" has also been making its way around the European lounge scene. This is definitly an act to keep you eyes on and your ears open to. Any fan of Thievery Corporation, Boozoo Bajou, Four Tet, Kruder & Dorfmeister or Ralph Myerz & Jack Herron Band will dig Aratone.

High quality dub work
If you like any of the current flavors of dub, this disc will fit nicely in your playlist. Smoothe downtempo work that is polished and yet retains a warm organic feel to it. Nice overall vibe start to finish. Highly recommended.

A fantastic journey
This is the first cd I ever bought not ever hearing about the artist or any of the songs, and I couldn't be more satisfied from what I heard. I just received the cd 6-7 days ago and I've already played the whole album 5+ times. It's amazingly relaxing and the beats are surprisingly catchy at the same time. It's great for doing homework to or just overall chilling out. It's a high four stars and it's highly recommended.

A chillout masterpiece from start to finish!! Highly Recommended!!
Just heard of these guys last summer in Zurich and after the first listen, I was hooked. Its all apparently sample free and has a real warm organic feel to it. Super chill forward thinking production that ranks up there with the best of them. Highly Recommended!!
