Album Notes
Aquaboy (Derek Buckner) is a Brooklyn based musician and visual artist living and performing in Brooklyn NY. He was the guitarist and singer for the Alt- Country band Sugarpine has collaborated with many musicians including Dan Fleigal (of the Eternals, Tom Ze, Tortoise) Francis Metcalf (of Fat Sac and the Embassy Suites) Rob Datum of the Nerves( Thrill Jockey) Josh Maddel of Antietam, Robert Rolston of Mr. Quintron and Math, Jim Becker of Califone as well as many others. In 1997 Derek released his first solo album "Symptoms" in 2003 he released his second solo album as Aquaboy titled "The World Still turns Without You" Derek has worked on many projects including: Bradford Reed's score and sound design for Comedy Central’s animated web series Golden Age, films by Crook Brothers Productions, and is currently working on a full length animated feature with Dan Schrecker and Jeremy Dawson (of Protazoa and Amoeba Proteus (visual effects supervisors for Frida, Pi, The Fountain...) Derek's music is currently part of Pump Audio catalog for television and film licensing.

Grat CD
I really dug this CD. It reminds me of early pavement and The Beatles. Some of the more layered tunes really stood out but I also am into the more simply produced tunes.
