About April:
I enjoy assisting clients to find more ease and balance in the body, mind and soul. Like many of us who come into this field to find wholeness within, it was about my own healing first. When my third child was born I had many health issues including anxiety and panic attacks. I used meditation and heart-centered work to heal my anxiety and take control of my life. I experience deep meaning and purpose through sharing these practices with others through workshops, my book, and yoga and meditation classes.

About these meditations:
These meditations will help you start your day from a place of alignment with your most authentic self. They will help you relax your body, drop out of your mind, and into your heart. You'll be guided to listen deeply into your heart or gut area, for guidance from a higher perspective. Throughout the next 14 days you'll shift from an active mindset of overwhelm, anxiety or fear; to a peaceful and blissful state of existence. Sure, we all fall back into old patterns, but this course teaches you how to find your way back to your most authentic space of inner peace and well-being.

About the book, Growth through Gratitude:
This book offers practical lessons, journaling prompts, and mindful meditations to accompany each chapter. By the end of this book, you’ll have journeyed through the entire process I personally used to transform from constant anxiety to consistent bliss. If you’re feeling lost, or unsure how to start feeling happier, you can find comfort that this book will take you step by step through an engaging and easy process of uncovering your own inner well-being that exists within all of us. In retrospect, my story starts three years ago when my husband and I were in the darkest place we’d ever been: we had three small kids, and we were literally told by our marriage counselor that “we should probably just get a divorce.” We both met with lawyers and initiated the lonely and scary path towards divorce. We weren’t speaking to each other. Although my girlfriends rallied around to support me, I felt truly alone for the first time in my life. This despair launched plight of uncovering my true self, because there was no one left to turn to: no one knew exactly what I was enduring, except myself. So, I turned inward, began meditating, found gratitude for what I had, and diligently journaled to connect with the higher part of me. As a result, I followed the quiet whispers of my heart to enable my healing process and found the love I’d been seeking within.
