Album Notes
Angryfolkband is a catch-all band created by Stu Venable in order to put a band name to the strange and peculiar music I write. You can fine earlier compilations, titled "Let Me Tell You About My Character" and "Once Upon a Tavern."

Much of this music is a result of Happy Jacks RPG Podcast and the actual plays we produce.

It's been quite a while since I've published a new compilation. Thank you for purchasing it, and I hope you enjoy it.

Song List:

Thousand Souls (lyrics and music by Stu Venable). This is the country version of the intro song for Happy Jacks Actual Plays, and it describes trying to explain the table-top RPG hobby to those outside the hobby.
Betrayal (by My Dice) (lyrics and music by Stu Venable) A song about a common complaint about a player's dice. It's a breakup song by a player to a particularly problematic die.
Boom Boom Boom (lyrics and music by Stu Venable) Originally written as an intro for our Savage Worlds RIFTS game. It talks about how awesome Glitter Boys are (the author happened to be playing one at the time).
Cassilda's Song (music by Stu Venable, lyrics by Robert W. Chambers, from The King in Yellow, Act I, Scene II). This is my adaptation of Chambers' lyrics for the featured song from the King in Yellow. Great play. Pick up a copy if you can.
Happy Jacks Anthem (lyrics and music by Stu Venable) After a strange copyright snafu, I had to write a new anthem for Happy Jacks RPG Podcast. This is is.
