Album Notes
Alien Love Affair was formed in 2014 by Maryn from Kiev, Ukraine and Max from Milwaukee, WI USA. Together they bring
two different perspectives from two opposite sides of the world through time and space to meld their vision of music for the
21st century.

Their music absorbs experimental elements of the 70's, electronic rhythms from the 80's onward with glitchy synthetic sounds from today and tomorrow. A refreshingly modern yet timeless sound with glitch pop electronic leanings, driven by soaring beautiful female vocals.

"Star*child the EP", will take you on a shared journey from within your inner consciousness to the far corners of the galaxy.
A journey that proves we are all an inalienable part of the universe.

Really solid, fresh style to hear!
Star*Child the EP is a great collection of tunes. Alien Love Affair's sound ranges from synthpop-infused tracks like “Star*Child” and “Little Bunny Rabbit”, to the moody dystopian, electronica compositions of “Random Generation” and “Welcome to the End”. As their Facebook page states, Max Stimulus and Maryn are a duo separated not only by geography, but by national barriers too. Maryn lives in Kiev in the war-torn Ukraine, which makes the lyrics on “Random Generation” and “Little Bunny Rabbit” all the more powerful. As she describes, she “I just can't take it”, “I hear footsteps in the hall”, and the haunting “Need to end the cruel wars that bring us only sorrow.” There's a definite sense of urgency behind the lyrics as she gives the listener a preview into her broken world. Max Stimulus (from Milwaukee of all places) produces the glitch heavy digital backing tracks that flow seamlessly around Maryn's diva vocal stylings. This is one of the more unique producer/singer collaboration efforts I've heard in quite awhile.
