Album Notes
Aggro-Fate, a five piece post-hardcore band from the often over-looked scene of New Orleans, Louisiana, has taken the forefront in the rebuilding of the post-Katrina underground movement brewing in their hometown. The diverse culture and heritage of the city explodes in the music of Aggro-Fate, as the band experiments in blending metal with Southern rock, jazz, hardcore, and melody. A-F often packs local venues, both bars and all ages, as well as playing extensively throughout the Southern region.

While still in high school, the band having already been signed to Camp Fury Records to a limited 500 copies of their now out-of-print debut album "This Aggressive Destiny" toured four states in the Midwest and across the South. Their band-first mentality and aggressive touring cost countless jobs and resulted in personnel changes, but the band persevered throughout. This determination has given them the opportunity to share the stage with such acts as Bleeding Through(Trustkill Records),Dead To Fall (Victory Records), The Hoods (Eulogy Recordings), As Blood Runs Black(Mediaskare Records), Too Pure To Die(Sumerian Records), The Burning Season(Hand Of Hope Records),Hand To Hand (Lifeforce Records), Inked In Blood (Facedown Records), Look What I Did (Combat Records), The Devil Wears Prada(Rise Records), The Secret Lives Of The Freemasons (Astro-Magnetics), Buried Inside (Relapse Records), Cursed(Goodfellow Records),First Blood(Trustkill Records), Bloodlined Calligraphy(Facedown Records), Death Before Dishonor(Bridge 9 Records), Dead Hearts(Ferret Records), Goatwhore (Metal Blade Records), Dry Kill Logic (Roadrunner Records), DoubleDrive (Roadrunner Records), Thumbscrew (imagine it records)The Dog And Pony Show(Rock,Paper,Scissiors Records)Beyond All Reason(Mtv's Battle For Ozzfest)Dryline(Zero-Sum Recordings)Jacknife(Zero-Sum Recordings)Die Young(Eulogy Recordings),Kingston Falls(Strikefirst records), Today Forever(Strikefirst Records), Call To Preserve(strikefirst records), Demise Of Eros(Strikefirst Records),Stick To Your Guns(Sumerian Records).

The band was recently featured on the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest sampler, with 15,000 copies being passed around the fest. Other artists included on the sampler are Eighteen Visions, Candiria, Extol, Gizmachi, It Dies Today, Trivium, Nightwish, The Agony Scene, Still Remains, Imperial, Thine Eyes Bleed, Crisis, and The Showdown.

Aggro-Fate is currently playing shows in support of their first DVD release, "The Aftermath Of The August Frenzy" (released Feb 5th of the current year). With an extensive schedule featuring support and headlining slots throughout the South as well as a new album in the works, A-F stands poised to spread its ferocity throughout the national metal scene.
