ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The newest release by Adrian Edgecombe is aptly titled "New Day". This contemporary gospel album flavored with Caribbean songs of praise is Elder Adrian's first solo project in 20 years and his first album in 8 years.
The former leader of Harvest Generation and The Bahamas Harvest Church Choir, Elder Adrian goes back to his contemporary roots but maintains his Caribbean sound. This album is special for this six time Marlin Award winner, because he arranged, engineered and produced most of the tracks. But to ensure there was a diversity in the sound he added songs produced by Sammie "Starr" Poitier.
Speaking of diversity... you will get the sense that Elder Adrian loves diversity. From Top 40 Pop to Reggae to Junkanoo to Worship to Contemporary Christian to Contemporary and Traditional Gospel, Adrian has you guessing, "What's next?"
His lead single, "Whatever I Do", depicts Elder Adrian's goal in life. That is, "Whatever I do in live, I'll make it pleasing in your sight, I'll praise your name forever.". This reggae track will have you dancing and praising God as you reflect on God's goodness, grace and protection.
Other tracks on the album include, "Offer Up" which is a celebratory junkanoo praise song that Elder Adrian sings with his two sons, Arron and Israel. Then there is the eclectic worship track called, "Breathe", sung with Elder Adrian's cousin Shara Kikivarakis. The album culminates with a tribute to Elder Adrian's grandmother, with guest leads from his son Arron, brother Coderro, Sr., cousins Shara & Chad Narine and nephew Cody Edgecombe. Background vocals were provided by other family members and Siobhan Lloyd.
New Day is set for release on March 3, 2019 at Bahamas Harvest Church, where Adrian Edgecombe serves as an Elder. He is married to Tiffany and they have two sons, Arron and Israel.
