Album Notes
"It's been a few years since Uncle Leon and the Alibis unleashed their cult hit, "Roller Derby Saved My Soul", on the world.

Now, on the eve of another grassroots American roller derby tour, they give us this latest contribution to the pantheon of roller derby anthems. Part rockabilly, part Ramones, and 100% roller derby-worshiping, ass-kicking rock'n'roll, "Rollin' with a Rollergirl" promises to become not only the most infectiously catchy song you'll hear this summer, but the definitive, groundbreaking soundtrack for a faster, wilder breed of womankind. Fans of Roller Derby MUST hear this song!
Uncle Leon and the Alibis have outdone themselves with their new song, “Rollin' With A Rollergirl”. I can think of no other song that so accurately captures the heart and soul of the sport of roller derby. With the single/double whistle blows, actual rollergirls singing backgrounds, and shout-outs to a few well-known leagues, this song will make any roller derby fan feel right at home.
