Album Notes
Huxley & Vincent Declare "Dirty Girl" Makes The World Worth Waking Up For!

Pop Rock perennials Kyle Vincent and Parthenon Huxley join forces with the release of the newly branded duo's first single, "Dirty Girl." The tremendously infectious track stirs the ghost of Marc Bolan among others during its three and a half minute run of unadulterated 70's glam fun. "Dirty Girl" looks to be a 2010 summer party favorite.

Huxley & Vincent hold an inglorious record that they'd like to bury. Despite being a top 10 hit in many large cities, their 1997 radio staple, "Wake Me Up (When The World's Worth Waking Up For)" sat bubbling under Billboard's Hot 100 chart (at #101, natch) for longer than any other song in history, a span of 11 weeks. Perhaps "Dirty Girl" can flirt its way into the party this time 'round!

The discography of these two pure popsters is as long as it is impressive, and with their new duo the sum benefits from the parts in a big way. Both artists contributed to the writing, singing, playing and producing, with guitarist/singer Huxley moonlighting on bass, and pianist/singer Vincent unearthing the sax. Gordon Townsend drums on "Dirty Girl", taking a day off from touring the world with The Orchestra Featuring Former Members of ELO and ELO PART II.

Power Pop Magic from Huxley & Vincent
A riff-tastic catchy little stomper from two quality singer songwriters, pooling their considerable talents. Kyle & Parthenon's vocal harmonies blend in a fab, Bowie-ish power pop kind of a way and hit you instantly with a melody and hook that sustains along with glissando guitar solos slipping and sliding along for the ride. Just under 3 mins 30 secs of sheer brilliance. Foot tapping crunchy riff power pop of the highest order. Get it now!
