ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

Smooth as Butter
Though the production work is clearly done with MIDI equipment, if one looks beyond that, they'll find a multi-layered tapestry of smooth groove. The bassline is perfect, and doesn't merely go along for the ride. Complementing a creative yet simple chord progression, the bass helps the piece move while the rest of the parts glide along. Excellently composed, wonderfully executed, but technologically lacking. But who's going to knock an otherwise great piece because of production besides gearhead jackasses?
