Fear of Bicycles recorded this, their 2nd album, between September 2009 - February 2010. All the tracks were recorded as improvised, warts & all, & edited down to manageable proportions. Due to the diversity of the band, each member brings his own influences into the music - King Crimson, Frank Zappa, most Prog Rock, Contemporary Jazz, Electronic (think Eno, Yello, Squarepusher etc.), Ambient, early Pink Floyd, Experimental, Structured Modal.....It just goes on!
There's plenty of variety/diversity on offer here from the four-piece (with Pete Cox - guitars, FX & loops; Graham Beck - keyboards, Kaoss Pads, loops, samples & FX; Ian Halstead - fretless bass guitar & FX; Martin Hyde - drum kit, ibo & countless Nakd fruit bars). Think rock/pop/jazz/psychedelica/electronic/ambient - & you're almost half-way there!!
Ten tracks, with over 78 minutes-worth of music....what more could you want, or get, for the money???!
Oh yes, & don't forget their sense of humour......
