Album Notes
Fans asked for it...this album revisits tracks that have been lost in the shuffle or had limited release in foreign markets (such as the 1982 Japanese single Dance Gypsy Dance, here restored in fine fidelity). Tracks are culled from Jones' Just for the Record Anthology, his critically-acclaimed albums Incredible! (the overlooked 80s power pop gem) and Just Me albums (1 and 2), and assorted sessions from 1986 to 2003. Of particular note is the remastered reissue of the criminally-overlooked 1986 single, Don't Go. Monkees' fans will recognize Valleri and I'll Love You Forever (staples at Jones' concerts).

Daydream Believer gets two make-overs. One is a 1994 video soundtrack with his then-road band: Wayne Avers, the Riccitelli brothers, and the late, great Jerry Renino, who also plays bass on Hold Me Tight; the band is also heard on Girl. The other version is a 2001 radical techno-dance remake, produced (with Johnny J. Blair and Bil Bryant) with a multinational group of singers, reggae toasters, rappers, and tech-heads.

Musicians include Cassie Blair, Johnny J. Blair "Singer at Large," Adrienne "Lady A" Blanton, Tim Breon (Paul Anka, Martha Reeves), Bil Bryant (Bill Laswell, Machine Gun), Linda Kanski (Williamsport Symphony Orchestra), Skip Kline, Monette Newsuan, Mark Tomeo (The Badlees, Rubber Rodeo), Doug Trevor, and former Monkees/Davy Jones music director Mark Clarke (Ian Hunter, Billy Squier, Tempest, Uriah Heep) . Tracks were recorded in studios from Australia to Sweden.
