Album Notes
Formed in the winter of 2007 in an Alaskan hillside cabin, The 11:20s combine both a geographical and musical diversity. Hailing between Alabama, Long Island, Washington State and Minnesota, The 11:20s combine to form an eclectic mix of Americana Pop Rock with influences ranging from The Beatles to Medeski, Martin and Wood. Their debut album, Good News First, released in early 2009, is the culmination of a year’s worth of studio sessions recorded across Alaska bringing together a host of guests who contribute to the album. Look for The 11:20s as they tour across Alaska this summer and fall and begin work on their sophomore release.
