Russell Ronnebaum

Russell Ronnebaum, a Kansas native, earned his Bachelor of Music Degree in piano performance from the University of Kansas in 2009. After graduation, he attended the University of Arizona where he earned a Masters Degree in collaborative piano under the guidance of Dr. Paula Fan.

Russell is a staff accompanist with the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, Tucson High Magnet School, Rincon/University High, and is a music director for St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church where he serves as both choral director and pianist/organist. This summer, he won the audition and was named the Tucson Masterworks Chorale’s new accompanist. This past summer (2015), he was selected to be the Principal Keyboardist for the American Wind Symphony Orchestra’s annual summer tour. Russell is a supplemental keyboardist for The Tucson Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Ronnebaum is also a composer and recently recorded and released his first album of concert arrangements and original works for piano titled “Winter Scenes”. Upcoming projects include more piano music, string orchestra pieces, and a commission to write a choral work for Rincon/University High School to premiere at Carnegie Hall in New York City in March 2016. Russell will be joining them at the piano for that premiere.
