Dave Del Monte & The Cross County Boys

Here is what people are saying about Dave Del Monte and The Cross County Boys:

“I think they’re the greatest rockabilly band to come along in years – the greatest musical thing to happen to the Hudson Valley since they put butter on bread!” - Tony O, Dungeon Serenade, WVKR and

“We were all surprised. We thought it was going to sound commercial, but they sound really raw. We love it!” – Lou and the gang at Times Square Records (New York).

Dave Del Monte and The Cross County Boys are from the United States (Connecticut), and were formed back in 2004. Dave began playing guitar at age 12, formed his first band at 14, and is self-taught on guitar and upright bass. Influences such as Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Charlie Feathers, Gene Vincent, Link Wray, Dick Dale and all the great doo wop music he’s heard over the years are very present in their music. In addition to rockabilly, Dave and the Cross County Boys also love playing instrumentals, surf, and old country music!! They have released two full length CDs, Follically Impaired (2005) and Cross The Line (2008) and appeared on the “Rockabilly Burnout Vol 1” for the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2012. They love to put a rockabilly spin on doo wop songs, and did this on 2008’s Cross The Line with “Two Hearts, Two Kisses”, “Bim Bam Boom”, “People Are Talking”, “Nag” and others! Now in 2019, Dave and the boys have been busy recording new material to be released later this year.
